Bur-Bak Machine Corp. d/b/a Burbak Plastics

A precision injection molding manufacturer, located in Wilton, NH with long-standing Fortune 500 OEM customers, including the medical, firearms and defense industries.  The company was acquired by Spaulding Composites of Rochester, NH. 

Mid-Cape Home Centers/Nickerson Lumber
The company is one of the 75 largest lumber companies in the country with eight locations in Massachusetts. The acquirer is a private investor who had searched for a private, sizeable acquisition.  CVG represented Mid-Cape on an exclusive basis.

Nickerson Lumber
This was a follow-up transaction to the sale of Mid-Cape Home Centers the previous year, involving the sale of a significant property to the Mid-Cape acquirer. CVG continued to represent the company with respect to a remaining property associated with the company.

The Red Mill
This speciality saw mill located in Casco Maine known for it's focus on a single wood species was acquired by a private owner-operator with extensive manufacturing experience who in conjunction with the acquisition relocated to Maine from the Mid-Atlantic area.  CVG was the exclusive representative in the transaction. 

Mapleroc Industries

This Maine company held multiple patents and developed a sophisticated, roll cutting system for the paper industry.  The acquiring company is a national firm based in Massachusetts that has added this system to its product lineup.  CVG represented Mapleroc in this transaction.

Wallace Prefab Corporation
This New Hampshire company is a leading manufacturer of wall panels used in commercial and residential construction. The company was acquired by a sales professional who has implemented an aggressive growth plan.  CVG represented Wallace in the transaction.

Maine Specialty Contractor
Specialty contractor with significant repeat business.  All operating assets, consisting of A/R, inventory, equipment and vehicles, were included with the sale. 

Friendship Trap Company
Located in Friendship, Maine this firm is one of the largest manufacturers of lobster traps in the country. The acquirer is an owner-operator from Virginia with an extensive manufacturing background who has relocated to Maine and assumed day-to-day operating management.  CVG represented Friendship in the transaction

Keiser Industries
Oxford Maine-based Keiser Industries, a custom modular home manufacturer focused primarily on the New England market and a division of R.J. Finlay & Co., was acqured by Pennsylvania-based Excel Homes.  Excel is owned by Innovative Building Systems, was founded in 1984 and is the largest modular home manufacturer on the East Coast.  A primary motivation for the acquisition was that Excel has a backlog of projects and required the additional capacity offered by Keiser.  CVG was the exclusive representative for Keiser in the transaction. 

Business Card Express

This company manufactures and supplies large businesses, including national companies and print shops, with specialty printed products.  The company was acquired by an owner-operator who relocated to New Hampshire.  CVG represented BCE in the transaction.

H.A. Stiles

This Maine firm has operated for many generations as a finished wood products supplier. Based in the Northeast , the company has produced wood products for many well known national companies.  The firm was acquired by a major industry player.

America's Pet Store

This online company based in Vermont has customers throughout North America, as well as some European sales.  The company is an industry leader in certain segments of the pet products industry.  It was acquired by an owner-operator with industry experience.  CVG represented APS in the transaction. 

New England Lumber, New England Drywall, New England Door and Capital Flooring Supply

This Boston-based company supplies professional contractors, municipalities and homeowners with a huge selection of building materials.  The firm had four separate operating divisions and was acquired by an owner-operator with extensive industry experience.  CVG represented NEL in the transaction. 

Leading Wood Products Manufacturing Company
An historic wood products manufacturer, one of the largest in the U.S. and with multiple locations, was acquired by a private equity firm with offices on the East Coast and California. 

The Kennel Shops
A chain of pet specialty superstores with a separate distribution/headquarters, was acquired by a multiple office private equity firm with significant expansion plans. 

Granville Lumber Company
A leading Maine company in the retail lumber industry, this multi-location, well known firm with two locations was an add-on acquisition for another major lumber company.

Rockport Post & Beam
This highly regarded fine joinery, post and beam home manufacturer was acquired by an investor already associated with the post and beam industry.

Great Island Boatyard
Situated on a beautiful inlet in Maine this sizeable marina and boatyard was purchased by a Midwest corporate executive seeking a lifestyle change.

Look’s Canning Company
A venerable firm with a long history in the seafood industry, Look's was acquired by a food industry executive from Florida who has successfully launched distribution through major, national supermarket chains.
